BIOS:
Raina Bird was born in a cult run by a fat bald guy with 9
wives who said he was the living incarnation of the divine. She now
hates hippies and religion with equal fervor. She is currently writing
a memoir about the experience. Her work has appeared in Morbid Curiosity,
Instant City and cherrybleeds. She is heavily tattooed, very fond
of her pet rat and leaves her house as little as possible,
Tina Butcher - AKA Madison Young is a San Francisco based
writer, artist, and international bondage model. Tina's writer has
been published in such magazines as Girlfriends, On Our Backs, Bitch,
Herbivore, Skin Two, and in the anthology "Baby Remember My
Name." edited by Michelle Tea. Currently writes travel articles
for Velvet Park, and reviews for Skin Two, and is completing her
memoir entitled The Tail of a Bondage Model; Memoirs of Madison Young".
Madison Young has traveled the world working with some of the best
bondage and fetish photographers and rope artists in the business.
Madison has been published in over 100 web sites, numerous magazines
including Hustler's Taboo and Leg World, and score of bondage and
fetish videos, international bondage performances, and has started
her own line of bondage videos and websites including www.MadisonBond.com and www.Tied4Sex.com.
Tony DuShane- spends all his time writing, working on his radio
show Drinks with Tony, editing the literary 'zine Cherry Bleeds and
bench pressing women who weigh 165 or less. His shoe size is
10 and his liver is strong.
Lilycat ¬ Is a strong believer of supporting underground
artists, loves to write, is a fan of sex and rock-n-roll, knows a lot

Carmelo Valone- the troubled Carmelo Valone grew up surrounded
by old money and living dead residents of the suburbs of Connecticut.
In the early and dysfunctional 1990s he suffered a Œbreakdown¹ and
spent a number of seasons in and out of McLean¹s Psychiatric hospital.
The former home to numerous other troubled writers such as Silvia Plath,
Anne Sexton, and Susana Kaysen. He is a writer and is currently working
on a darkly humorous memoir about his young adult life in the hospital
called; "The Sex Life of a Lunatic" a search for love within
lunacy. He also has several screenplays and has acted and makes weird
electronic music. He loves to watch Prison Break and feeds ducks at
the Hollywood Forever cemetery.
BURLESQUE PERFORMANCES BY: Solid Goldiggers Burlesque
A San Francisco based group founded in 2004 as a ladies night escape from significant
others. Consists of dancers Danielle Sipple Katie Rose, Charlie Fisher, Bene,
Melinda, and JoJo who all come from various dance and theater backgrounds.
Fusing the various dance styles of ballet, theater, funk, and hip hop with
traditional burlesque. The Solid Goldiggers bring you performances like you've
never seen that accentuate all that is dance performance art with a twist of
vintage style and glamour. Performing at various venues, such as Lingba Lounge,
Element, Nickies, Fashion events, and private events over the past year and
a half, Solid Goldiggers Burlesque continues to bring an element of excitement
and class to the world of dance entertainment while empowering themselves,

The Live Masturbate-a-Thon comes to DC! The Masturbate-a-Thon is a charity
event that's pleasurable for all! It's like a walk-a-thon, but (unless you
have an unusual version of masturbation), your feet won't be tired when you're
done. Live Masturbate-a-Thon founders Carol Queen and Robert Lawrence from
San Francisco, and Portland's Masturbate-a-Thon impresaria Darklady will be
your hosts! Carol and Robert are just back from helping to host the first-ever
UK Masturbate-a-Thon in London -- a splendid success!
There are three ways to do "it":
1. Ask your friends and lovers to pledge you some amount of money for every
minute (or hour) you masturbate. Bring their pledge with you or send it in
later. Funds from this party will benefit the Woodhull Freedom Foundation and
Federation and the Center for Sex & Culture. If you don't have people who
will pledge you, you can pledge yourself, at a minimum of $20.
OR: 2. Come be a Masturbate-a-Thon voyeur. Voyeurs can pay $20.00 at the door
and they will be restricted to the mezzanine level, where they can watch the
goings-on from above! Absolutely NO cameras or camera phones will be tolerated.
But you'll always have your memories.
OR: 3. Bring your partner to play with you in the Jack-and-Jill-Off Room! Party
admission of $20 gets you access to this space, where people can masturbate
and engage in other non-intercourse play with each other as done at the Portland,
Oregon version of the 'Thon. Couples or more- ples only, though we don't mind
if you just met in the voyeur's lounge.
